DESCRIPTION

The PK 91 Stool, inspired by Poul Kjærholm, epitomises his ongoing adaptation of historical furniture categories into his oeuvre and expressions. The source of inspiration for the PK 91 is an ancient Egyptian folding stool that dates back to approximately 1500 BC. The designer’s method of refining historical furniture types has again been put into play, and the result is unmistakably a Kjærholm classic, with the stool’s minimalistic and elegant expression.
