The Utrecht armchair stands out for its design constructivism: volumes that form a seat in an original and futuristic way.

An architecture that is soft and airy, with comfortable seating and always supported. The sign that characterises the Utrecht armchair is the armrests, which, by their geometrical lines, contrast with the soft lines of the seat. Dutch designer Gerrit Rietveld is one of modernism's most singular figures—a leading light of the De Stijl movement and the designer of some of the modern age's most iconic pieces of furniture.
